Oh the luggage

Right, well the reason for my first post from Europe with the two pieces of luggage was to tell you that for two weeks in Europe that was all the baggage I had with me. Two pieces for two weeks, a new personal best. I think the joy of packing lighter is going to sink in. off to the plane....

C'ya Europe

Well this is my last post from Europe, we are in the lounge at the airport and headed home. I will be flying BUD-JFK-ATL and Michael flew from BUD-CDG-ATL and Paul and Bryan are flying BUD-JFK-LGA-ATL, but we are still hopeful they will be switched to my flights. We had a great time and I am looking forward to being in my own bed with my cats and pup soon. See you soon.

Ooohhh and Ahhhhh

Budapest is quite beautiful. We had a great night here last night and today was wonderful as well. We went up the Castle hill today and went to the National museum, nice stuff. Then we went and saw a church, got some lunch. The view from the large Buda hill looking down on Pest was quite nice. Those were the ooohhh's.
As for the Ahhhh's well we went to the Szechenyi Thermal Bath for some relaxation time. My muscles are really relaxed, if you ever get here, you must go to the bath for some relaxation...even if it is difficult to figure out payment and where to get a towel, etc...
Got to run for dinner. peace

Buda & Pest

Hello readers,
we have made it to Budapest. Our hotel is quite nice and we are still kind of lagging from all the traveling over the past week. I promise to take it easy this last week and come home refreshed as possible. I will have some pictures tomorrow. Peace

Berlin was great

ok it is really late but i thought i would post a thought or two...
I really have enjoyed Berlin, I think maybe next year I will run the marathon here...anyone want to join?
The people the food and the wonderful feeling in this city will draw me back again for sure.
Lazy Sunday today. Here was the schedule as it unfolded:
wake 10:30
Mass 12noon
Lunch 2:15 buffet...mmmm
Post lunch beer 4pm
Nap from 5:-7:30
Dinner 8-10
Bar for beer 10-midnight for St. Martin's Day...costumes and fun times with great Berliners....and now beddy by time. More picture's when I have them.
