Xmas...yuck! Part VI

I am not opposed to light shows, head to Newnan if you want to see a nice one done by a member of St. Matthew, but the dance version of Amazing Grace, I only have two words to say about that...Puh & Lees!

Ferris Wheel

This would be fun to play around on, either in the buckets or jumping about powering the thing. Sweet!

Lets try that again...

...this time with some emotion! Drew really could have shown some more excitement don't you think. You be the judge.

Xmas...yuck! Part V

Charo and Pee-wee Herman? Arrrrghhhh

Really stuck that landing!

Poor cow gets a beat down from the pilot. Enjoy.

This Boston in one smart pooch.

I like how he uses his tongue to open the cage. I think he is not so much freeing his friend as wanting to take what is in the other dogs cage.

UPDATE: Lets try that again with the correct video!

Lagos Nigeria

I stumbled upon this story (from siphoning off a few thoughts)and just had to let you read it, I laughed heartily at this one. Enjoy

About a year ago I shared a story about a crazy experience a friend of a friend had at the airport in Lagos, Nigeria. Here’s another one! This morning, at the airport in Brussels, I was chatting with a retired Scottish aid worker. He told about his friend who got on a flight in Lagos to find it completely full…plus one. One person was standing in the aisle with no seat. The flight attendants went through and checked that everyone had a boarding pass, which they did. (Apparently someone had a forged pass; welcome to Lagos.) The staff then made an announcement that everyone was going to de-plane and that they were going to check everyone’s boarding pass carefully.

As soon as the first person stepped off the plane, the staff slammed and locked the airplane door, despite the person’s cries and banging on the door. Problem solved.

Germans as well?

We all know that the Japanese have some crazy TV, but this one is from Germany in the 70's. It starts off ok...and then is weird really quickly. What do you figure is going on with this one?!1!!

Great book

This would be a great book for kids of all ages. I love the work especially OPQR. Enjoy

Xmas...yuck! Part IV

This is just too much, I mean really, come on now...Tom Jones this is just sad.

Xmas...yuck! Part III

Don't these people have anything better to do??? Like trying to fix the economy or something? Again Xmas reigns supreme...arghhhh!

Tumbleweeds

I used to go to a place called Tumbleweeds to dance when I was in college. This has nothing to do with that except for the thing featured in this video is a sweet tumbleweed tornado. Enjoy

Xmas...yuck! Part II

Who thought this would be a great idea? I can remember seeing this years ago and thinking it was a bad idea...seems I have not changed my mind on this one over the years.

They think we have forgotten

They even know how to treat humans when they abuse us. You have been warned.

I threw up a bit

After the penance service tonight the Fr.s took me to see the xmas
lights. "I enojyed it so!"?

Xmas...yuck!

Really I loathe xmas...really I hate it. Love Advent and Love Christmas, but hate xmas. Case in point.

Advent

This is why I loathe secular "chr'mas" Xmas. It is a slippery slope and we all know that there is where it can lead. Enjoy Advent and then when Christmas is ready to be celebrated, we will shun silliness like this (although you know I love cats and Christmas) and enjoy the birth of our Saviour Jesus!

6:27PM

It was on December 15, 1986 at 6:27PM that I remember seeing my father take his last breath. The time has always stuck with me. Last Friday 12DEC my dad would have turned 70years old, seems odd that thought. Dad was 48 when he died of complications with lung cancer, but mom was there by his side and most of the family had a good chance to say goodbye before he died. Although I have lived more time without him than I have with him, that is all just a farce, he is still with me in my heart and life, I see traces of him in myself and my siblings at times. Seems odd 22 years later 6:27 is still there in my head.

This is why I love Japan

Forget all that nonsense that I put up about how crazy they are in Japan (although they are crazy over there) this is the stuff that I love about Japan. I know I have posted about the bike parking before this is a great video showing the process of parking a bike. Enjoy!
