Pure Fashion

I went to the Pure Fashion show yesterday, so that I could see some of our St. Matthew girls model some wonderful fashions. It was not just a fashion show, they had some inspirational speakers and some singers and a few dancers, they were even able to help fulfill a Make a Wish happen. It was a nice day with a bunch of young girls having the time of their lives...not so much for a guy my age, but it was still a good day. Our own Rhonda Boyle served as co-coordinator for the entire event, way to go Rhonda. Also good job to all the young women who represented St. Matthew, you did a great job! Here are some photos from the event. And below that you will find a video of the younger Ms. Boyle. Peace

Thanks for coming, Father Vic! I know that for you (and my dear husband, Chris), it was a day of Redemptive Suffering! :o) But it meant SO MUCH to the girls to have you there and to have the support of the other parishioners of Saint Matthew join us for a day of faith, fun, fashion and friends! More important, though, was seeing the joy on the faces of the little girls gathered around the edges of the runway as they watched the debut of their new role models of modesty and purity.

Please keep us in your prayers as we set about to change our culture... one girl at a time, one heart at a time, one outfit at a time!

God's peace, Rhonda Boyle

ps -- just remember that there will be a pay back for posting that picture of me! :o) Bwa-ha-ha-ha! When you least expect it!

Great photos, Father. How wonderful that you were able to come and enjoy this great day with all of those young ladies. They've worked so hard. Their message is one that I hope and pray will continue to grow as my daughters and my son embark on their formative teen years.
God Bless

Hi Father Vic -

Gail Routon here - Thanks so much for the pictures - We were so sad to miss such an amazing event - we had Anna's last First Holy Communion class to attend at the same time. With three young girls - I am THRILLED to have Pure Fashion as something for them to look forward to. To admire, respect and strive to embody the qualities, morals, faith and virtues that this organization stands for! Kudos to you for going!
Many blessings -
Gail Routon
