OK here is another one for you to think about...let's see who is first with the correct answer.
Bob was bragging about the ranch he had purchase, when Carlos commented that it was probably just a "dinky little" two horse farm. Bob thrust out his chest and replied, "My ranch, I'll have you know, has all horses but two, all cows but two, and all sheep but two." How many animals does Bob own?

Bob has only two animals. If all but two are horses, cows and sheep, he has only two animals and they are not horses, cows or sheep. They are probably little chickens, or cats. ACG
My engineering "guesstimate" would be three animals - 1 horse, 1 cow, and 1 sheep.

All horses but two (one cow and one sheep);
All cows but two (one horse and one sheep);
All sheep but two (one horse and one cow).
That is a total of three animals: one horse, one cow, one sheep.
