That is what surgery I am having tomorrow is technically called, here is a more complete discussion on it from Wikipedia. It is hopeful that the surgery will help with my GERD and it will fix my Hiatal Hernia. The surgeon performing the surgery will be Dr. Barry McKernan, who is somewhat of a pioneer in the field of laparoscopic surgery. All the surgeons I have spoken to know who he is and know his reputation as a quality surgeon. In fact I know a couple of guys who have learned from him...so I guess he is good at what he does. Also a quick search of his name has shown that he is well published in medical journals and he even does a radio show. The surgery will take place at WellStar Windy Hill Hospital at 1pm. So a few prayers would be appreciated. I will put a post up as soon as I can.
On the lighter side of things. I have to fast from midnight on...and it looks like I won't be on solid food for a while. So, I had three great meals today as my last solid food. I will tell you for lunch I had the pizza buffet at Partners. Can you guess what I had for breakfast and dinner? A pre-paid 24 hour T-Mobile hotspot card for the first correct answer. I will be posting answers as they come in and will reveal the correct answers on Wednesday.
Peace
